Since 1994, Tony has led the Datasync team to provide both management and product direction as well as high calibre IT consulting services across Australia and Asia Pacific. Tony has been involved in the design and implementation of many solutions in various roles: Data Architect, Designer, Data Modeller, Performance Expert and Instructor. His prime responsibility is to guide customers on how to maximise the value they get from their data assets.
Tony’s interest lies in looking at leading edge projects across Datasync’s customer base. At present this work is heavily focused on assisting customers with their transition to Hybrid Cloud and SaaS based solutions, data security and the push to cognitive analysis. This work covers various industries from large enterprises to agile start-ups, and numerous technologies including IBM Cloud Pak, Azure, Cloudant, Db2, SQL Server, Hadoop, Spark and many others.
With the growing pressure from business on IT to manage data as an asset, customer expectations and regulatory change, Tony is also working with an increasing number of customers on data classifications, test data management, data activity monitoring, encryption and the implementation of effective data governance solutions.
Neil has been an integral member of the Data Management community in Australia since the early nineties. His expertise covers all distributed, cloud and mainframe platforms and includes installation, connectivity, performance, large scale deployment, replication, clustering and high availability.
Neil has in-depth data migration and cross platform experience, which is in constant demand for large scale migrations where building and leading teams by example is as core as the complex technology skills involved.
Neil has spoken at conferences and user groups, and has conducted training courses during his lengthy career.
Robert is a senior consultant and instructor on Information Management technology with over 25 years experience in IT. Robert has been involved in the implementation and operation of many sites in Australia and New Zealand in a variety of roles from product pre-sales, management, architecture and performance tuning. As an instructor, Robert has extensive experience in teaching all areas of DB2, Informix and SQL.
Datasync Consulting has a varied customer base that includes a number of large corporations, software and package vendors, state and federal government organisations and large IT vendors. They range in size from start-up ventures, 100 employees businesses through to companies employing in excess of 50,000 staff and are located in major capital cities in the region including Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, Hong Kong and Singapore.
